During the Summer 2022, we held our first Colourman hosted workshop to learn the art of decorative painting. Held in the beautiful Somerset countryside in a gorgeous, idyllic house. It was a brilliant event .The fabulously talented artist and designer Melissa White was at the helm, carefully guiding the class through the stages of designing and painting their own keepsake wooden box. The group were taken through stage-by-stage; experimenting with pattern, shape and texture. The boxes were painted, finished by distressing and then waxed for an expert finish. Each box was unique and individual – we were delighted to see the room bubbling with energy and enthusiasm.
It was also a real treat to have our lovely competition winner @polly_wolly_doodles_ with us for the day.
Our workshops suit all levels – held in unique locations with expert artisan teachers. Everything you need is provided including a delicious light lunch.
